The works of artist and activist Pacita Abad have been shown in over 200 museums and galleries around the world. In the art workshop held on 03 October, Ms. Gaté taught the participants about Abad's pioneering trapunto paintings and showed them the colorful, vibrant and insightful works of a successful and impactful Filipino artist. On 31 July 2020, Google Doodle honored Abad by making her the homepage banner of https://www.google.com.
