A Taste of the Philippines
In partnership with food writer and author of the highly acclaimed book “Under Coconut Skies” Yasmin Newman and her production crew and team of food chefs and restaurateurs across Australia, the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) produced "Food Cultures and Tourism Exchange", a video series that features regional dishes and ingredients from regional Australia and the Philippines complemented by tourism footage from each region.
The project was made possible through a grant from the Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC) of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a council founded in 2015 to strengthen Australia’s engagement with ASEAN member countries.
Watch as Yasmin and Filipino-Australian chefs and restaurateurs cook flavourful dishes for us with some of the best ingredients from regional Australia and the Philippines while they talk about interesting sights and stories from each region.
